Marlando Pridgen is our candidate for the 7th Congressional District. He met with us earlier this year and we all look forward to having Marlando update us on how his campaign is progressing.

President's Message
Dear All,
I really don't know if I will ever recover from the past week. I have cried, jumped for joy and laughed more than I thought I ever could. I could not believe my eyes when Michelle Obama walked out in her Ninja outfit and told Trump everything that we all have been thinking for years. Or when Adam Kinzinger told Republicans that if they wanted a president who was worth of the job - vote for Kamala.
We all witnessed history when Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic Nomination for President of the United States. I know that this country will be forever changed by the love, joy, enthusiasm and purpose that she and Tim Walz will bring to the White House in November.
Over the course of the DNC Convention - multiple people spoke to the tough road ahead. I thought about all the postcards we have written, the plans we have in place for door knockering and phone banking and I believe that DWPC is ready to DO SOMETHING! We have the people, the will and the organization to not only turn Pender Blue but to help elect Democrats throughout NC and get Kamala and Tim elected!
Commentators also said multiple times that they wondered if the enthusiasm of the convention delegates would translate into action in the real world. If they have any doubts that we are ready to GO FORWARD - THEY should come and visit a DWPC meeting!

DWPC Wants to Hear From YOU!
At the April 18th DWPC Wine & Whine Party, the group discussed how we can get our democratic message out during this election cycle. Everyone said that we need a slogan that has impact and will catch people's attention.
We had several suggestions - but we want to hear what you think would be a great slogan.
Please send your ideas to our gmail at democraticwomenofpendercounty@gmail.com we will compile a list of the top 10 for all our members to vote on.

The upcoming 2024 elections are probably the most important voting cycle in our lives. We need every person to stand up for what is right and get out the vote in Pender County.
